King Halibut(907) 280-9685Stunning ocean and volcano views, a private beach, an oceanfront hot tub and a sauna — and halibut fishing from the shore.
King Halibut Lodge is a small, owner-run property on the western Kenai Peninsula, conveniently between the Kasilof River and Homer. Twelve unique rooms, a commercial kitchen in the main lodge, and onshore halibut fishing make it work for fishing trips, family weeks, weddings, retreats, and full-property buyouts.
Fully customizable — add or remove days, rotate activities around weather. Every package includes Anchorage transfers, lodging, meals, and activities with our pre-vetted partners. Discounts for groups of ten or more.

Visit Happy Valley Falls on a side-by-side, find agates on the beach, go horseback riding, book a halibut or salmon charter, take a hike, or run into Homer for the day. Booked through the lodge — most guests mix and match around the weather.
Onshore halibut fishing right off the lodge, or a half- or full-day charter out of nearby Homer or Ninilchik. King Halibut Lodge sits where the halibut do — book a charter or just walk down to the beach.
Guided rides up the beach to Happy Valley Falls or longer hauls along the bluff. All abilities — most guests haven't ridden in years. Booked through the lodge.
Side-by-side UTVs from the shed for self-driven trips up the beach, out to Happy Valley Falls, agate-hunting along the shore, or short runs into Homer. Take them by the day.
Pickup and drop-off straight from the lodge. Fly over active volcanoes, glaciers, or out to view brown bears — or combine all three on the full-day Bear, Volcano & Glacier safari. Built into every package.
Oceanfront hot tub on the lodge deck and a cedar sauna. The sun barely sets in July — most guests are still in the tub at 11 p.m. with the volcanoes glowing across the inlet.
Twelve unique rooms accommodating up to 30 guests. Reservations are for individual rooms or for the entire property — fishing trips, weddings, family reunions, retreats. The commercial kitchen is available to guests, or our chef can build a meal plan around your group.

Same end of the lodge as the Bear, slightly smaller.
